Join us for P.I.E. Day Service (Public, Intentional, Explicit) on March 10. Guest Speaker James Bellamy.
James Bellamy currently serves as one of the first Community Mobilizers working within a Police Service with the specific goal of building bridges between the LGBTQ2S+ communities and CPS. In this new Ambassador role, he brings a very interesting history in both church and gay culture. James came out as a gay cis gender man at the age of 41. A father of 4, and a church leader, a survivor of conversion therapy, his journey would change significantly.
In the past 20 years James has worked extensively in the Calgary Queer community as President of the Calgary Queer Arts Society (Fairytales Film Festival), Co-Chair of the Gender and Sexual Diversity Advisory board to Calgary Police, and President of the Fellowship of Alberta Bears.
This is a pie potluck following the service, bring a sweet or savory delight to share!
PIE for all!
