SSUC Edmonton will be auctioning some amazing locally baked pies (made with love) to raise funds for a local 2SLGBTQIA+ nonprofit organization. This year, we are raising funds for SSUC’s in-house program, Camp Dragonfly; an Edmonton-based summer camp for trans+ and gender-creative kids (aged 6-13). On International Pi Day, we are co-opting this numerical celebration to practice something vital to our community…PIE! More specifically, Public, Intentional, and Explicit support toward Edmonton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ folks we know and love. Since 1999, SSUC has been a landmark affirming congregation for Edmonton’s queer community and we are always looking for ways to affirm, welcome, and uphold inclusivity.
