Event description: Dublin Street United Church in Guelph, ON will be hosting a panel discussion on Saturday, March 9 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm.

Too often bodies get excluded from the spiritual conversation, whether this is because of a centuries old division between the body and the mind, or an intentional exclusion of bodies that do not conform to the societal norm of white, cisgender, thin, able-bodied, male. The Christian church has often been complicit in this exclusion despite God’s clear instruction that the diversity of creation is good and indeed God’s intent. Join us as we challenge this exclusion and talk about the ways marginalized bodies are taking space in the spiritual conversation and how together we can create a more embodied future in the church and other spiritual spaces. The cost would be $10 or pay as you can. This event will in-person with snacks and drinks provided. We hope to see you there!
